HALL OF FAME

The 2010 Hall of Fame Banquet will be held
July 24, 2010 at the Elks Lodge, 2055 Elks Dr, San Bernardino.

Cocktail Hour is at 6 p.m., followed by the banquet and presentations.  Cost is $20 and the banquet is open to all.  If further information is needed, please call the Citrus Belt office at 909-381-4599.

The inductees are:

Superior Performance Dave Gulley, Clarke Moore, Jim Murtishaw and Tom Robison

The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to perpetuate the name of past or present members of this association who, through their competitive skills, leadership, or contributions, have enriched the general welfare, spirit, reputation and progress of the game of ten pins.

DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO DESERVES THIS RECOGNITION?  The Hall of Fame Committee is seeking nominations.  Hall of Fame Categories and Eligibility requirements:

PERFORMANCE CATEGORY:  To be eligible in this category, a past or present member's bowling accomplishments must have been made as an active bowler for at least 5 years.

MERITORIOUS SERVICE CATEGORY:  To be eligible in this category, a past or present member shall have performed meritorious service for the game of bowling and been actively involved in bowling within the jurisdictional area of this association for a period of at least 10 years.

POSTHUMOUS NOMINATIONS AND AWARDS

Persons no longer living may be nominated for induction into the Hall of Fame.  These nominations will be processed along with all other nominations; however, they must include the name and mode of contact of a relative or other individual who would accept the award on behalf of the nominee.

HOW TO NOMINATE SOMEONE

Any individual or group may submit a nomination for induction into the Hall of Fame.  Only those nominations received by February 15 will be considered for induction for that year at our banquet held no later than July following annual tournaments.  All nominations will be retained indefinitely and may be considered in subsequent years.  Nominations must be submitted in letter form and signed by at least 3 persons.  The letter should contain enough information to justify consideration, such as a list of bowling or service accomplishments, including dates and locations, and copies of pertinent documents and materials to substantiate the information provided.
